Although our website promotes a wide range of health benefits from infusions and teas, most of them are not supported by published literature. This doesn’t necessarily mean you won’t experience a benefit; it simply means that scientists don’t know if the benefit can be replicated in scientific studies.

North American medicinal plant used by the Indians to resist infections. However, it is only in the last decade that modern research has confirmed this property. It is popular for fighting colds, flu and other infections. There are those who advocate echinacea as a protector against skin problems, cancer and mental problems, but the scientific community does not agree with the benefits of echinacea and points to some side effects.
