The use and sales promoted on the Handsonearth website are governed by the following terms and conditions. When placing an order at Handsonearth, you:
– You declare that you have read and agreed to these terms and conditions;
– Declares that he/she is at least eighteen (18) years of age and/or is of legal age in the jurisdiction of his/her residence, and that he/she is legally able to contract and will use his/her own means of payment;
– You will not make fraudulent use of the website, contrary to the law or good customs;
– Accepts that it will be Portuguese legislation that regulates any conflict with the consumer, without prejudice to any provision to the contrary, Community directive or international treaty.

All material included on the Handsonearth website is protected by copyright.
Reproduction, modification, transmission, republication and/or redistribution to third parties for commercial purposes is strictly prohibited without the prior consent of Handsonearth.
Handsonearth Lda does not allow the use of the contents of the website or its brand for any purpose other than those mentioned above.
LEGAL NOTICE
Handsonearth Lda publishes information on its Handsonearth website in order to provide the best service to users, and updates this information permanently. However, Handsonearth declines all responsibility for any technical inaccuracies and/or typographical errors that may arise.
Handsonearth Lda also reserves the right to make corrections and changes to the Handsonearth website without prior notice.
Handsonearth does not guarantee that all the information published on its website complies with the legislation in force in the user’s jurisdiction, with the exception of Portugal.
The Handsonearth Lda website is protected in accordance with international internet standards, so if used correctly, the user can be sure of not encountering any viruses. However, Handsonearth declines all responsibility for any problems, damages, viruses or risks that the user may incur during improper use of the website, as well as for any faulty use of the site.
Handsonearth also reserves the right to modify the terms and conditions contained in this legal information without prior notice.
The user and Handsonearth. agree that any legal matter relating to the use of the Handsonearth website shall be addressed exclusively to the Court of Braga, Portugal, without prejudice to any mandatory provision to the contrary in Portuguese law, EU directive or international treaty.
DESCRIPTION OF THE ARTICLES

Due to the type of computer used, color settings, internet browser or others, the colors shown in the photographs on the Handsonearth website may differ from the actual colors. Handsonearth cannot be held responsible for such differences.
PRIVACY
All personal information provided to the Handsonearth website will be treated responsibly, and will not be used for any purpose other than to provide the best service to users. The Handsonearth online store guarantees not to share any personal information with third parties without the prior consent of users.
STOCK UNAVAILABLE
Handsonearth reserves the right to inform the user, within 72 hours of receiving the order, of the unavailability of any item ordered. Once the user has been informed of this unavailability, the contract is automatically considered terminated in respect of the unavailable item, and the user is guaranteed not to incur any costs on account of the cancellation of the order in respect of the unavailable item, with the amount shown on the user’s card statement being cancelled in due proportion. The contract will remain in force and will produce its normal effects with regard to any other items ordered, unless the user indicates otherwise.
PRICES
All prices in Handsonearth are shown in EUR €
The exchange rate used by the credit card company may not be exactly the same as that shown at the time of purchase.
The price shown for each product does not include transportation costs, but does include the VAT rate in force in Portugal (23%).
PRICE CHANGES
Handsonearth reserves the right to change the prices of products on sale.
When an order is placed and confirmed, the prices of the products will be valid for the duration of that specific process.
When placing an order, the value of the order will be held in the user’s card account in favor of Handsonearth. All transactions made on Handsonearth will be forwarded to a secure online banking system provided by PAYPAL.
Handsonearth does not store any card numbers or any information related to the act of payment.
PAYPAL
Handsonearth accepts payments via PayPal accounts.
MULTIBANK
Users with a bank account with a Portuguese bank will be able to settle their orders at Handsonearth using the Multibanco payment system.
TAX FREE (NON-EU PAYMENTS)
All prices in Handsonearth include VAT at the rate of 23% applied to all intra-EU purchases.
For all non-EU countries in Europe and the rest of the world, customs duties may apply. These costs will be the responsibility of the buyer. If these costs are not paid by the buyer and the order has to be returned to Handsonearth, the cost of the return will be taken from the payment made.
SHIPMENTS AND DELIVERIES
DELIVERY TIMES
Handsonearth is open from Monday to Friday, with the exception of public holidays.
Delivery times may be slightly longer during sales periods and public holidays. Apart from these exceptions, the normal delivery times will be:
– Mainland Portugal 3 to 5 working days
– Azores and Madeira 4 to 7 working days
– Europe 5 to 8 working days
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
All orders require a signature upon delivery.
Handsonearth cannot change the delivery address of orders once they have been dispatched.
The delivery times indicated above are merely indicative and do not take into account possible delays caused by problems with payment authorizations or customs clearance in the country of destination.
EXPEDITIONS AND COLLECTIONS
During the registration process at Handsonearth, the user will have to provide their personal address details.
Orders will be delivered to the address defined as the user’s address. If the user wishes Handsonearth to send the order to an alternative address, this address must be indicated when completing the order.
SUCCESSFUL EXPEDITION DELIVERY
The customer is requested to carefully inspect the box upon delivery of all shipments BEFORE signing the delivery document. All Handsonearth packaging is sealed with plastic tape.
If, for any reason, the packaging appears to be tampered with, please sign the delivery document with reservations, or refuse delivery.
If you accept delivery of the order with reservations, or if you refuse it, please make an immediate complaint to the Carrier and contact Handsonearth at info@Handsonearthshop.pt.
If, for any reason, the order cannot be delivered to the address provided by the user at the time of purchase, there is a risk that it will be returned to Handsonearth at the user’s expense. These costs will be deducted from the refund to the user.
If the order is not successfully delivered to the user’s address, due to any lack of cooperation from the user (wrong telephone number, wrong or incomplete address, non-compliance with import regulations, etc.), in accordance with the commercial agreement with Handsonearth, there may be a risk that the order will be returned to Portugal, at the user’s expense, including any import duties that may be charged at the time of re-entry into Portugal. These costs will be deducted from any possible reimbursement.
UNDELIVERED ORDERS
Shipping costs will not be refunded in the case of undelivered orders.
The cost of returning undelivered orders may also be subject to additional charges for taxes and costs or charges levied by customs or other entities which, in no case, will be reimbursed by Handsonearth.
INSURANCE
Handsonearth insures each purchase during the transit period until it is delivered to the user. All orders require a signature upon delivery, at which point responsibility passes to the user.
If you designate a recipient other than yourself for delivery purposes, then you accept the evidence of a signature as proof of delivery and compliance by Handsonearth and the corresponding transfer of liability in the same way.
EXCHANGES AND RETURNS
Return:
The User may return the product(s) ordered immediately upon receipt, provided that:
a) The product(s) have not been used;
b) The product(s) retain their original characteristics, intact labels and security tape (in cases where this is verified).
c) The product(s) are complete. All material accompanying orders must be returned.
The customer can deliver directly/personally to an official Handsonearth store.
The customer must request the return of the order via e-mail to info@Handsonearthshop.pt, indicating the item(s) they wish to return, as well as the order number.
RIGHT TO FREELY TERMINATE THE CONTRACT
Handsonearth recognizes the right of all its Customers to terminate their Contracts with Handsonearth, allowing them to return their order within 14 (fourteen) days from the day on which they acquire physical possession of the Product/s or from the day on which they acquire physical possession of the last Product, in the case of several goods ordered through a single order and delivered separately, and without having to state the reason.
Statement of Resolution
The Customer may fill in and send electronically the model Right of Free Resolution form provided for in Decree-Law no. 24/2014, of February 14, or any other unequivocal declaration of resolution (“Declaration of Resolution”) through the communication channels defined in these Conditions.
Product returns
The return by the Customer (without home collection) of any small or medium-sized Product must be made within a maximum period of 14 (fourteen) days following communication of the decision to terminate the Contract under the terms of the Right of Free Termination, and the Customer must immediately return the Products of the Order under the terms defined in the chapter on exchanges and return of Products in these Conditions.
Refunds
After exercising the Right of Free Termination of the Contract, the refund of the amount paid by the Customer, including, if applicable, the costs that the Customer has paid for the delivery of the Product, will be made by bank transfer, at no cost to the Customer and within 14 (fourteen) days of learning of the decision to terminate the Contract. The refund to the Customer will be paid after validation of compliance with the conditions described in the chapter on exchanges and returns of these Conditions and the Customer will not pay any fee for said refund.
The rights of Customers relating to compensation or reimbursement of expenses, as well as any contractual or non-contractual liability for direct or indirect damage to persons or property caused by the non-acceptance of an Order, in whole or in part, are expressly excluded and shall not be assumed by Handsonearth.
DAMAGE CAUSED DURING TRANSPORTATION/DEFECTIVE ITEMS
The return of defective items will only be accepted if the items are already defective at the time of delivery to the user. The Handsonearth team goes to great lengths to carefully check all items for any defects before shipping them out.
Handsonearth reserves the right to request photographic support for defective items or wrongly shipped goods before authorizing the return, for the purpose of reimbursing transport costs and Import Duties.
All items returned as defective will be duly inspected upon receipt and all items subject to wear and tear considered normal will not be considered defective.
Defective items will be exchanged for an identical item in the same color and size, subject to availability. If the user does not want a replacement item sent to them, they should make this request by emailing info@Handsonearthshop.pt.
Defective items must be returned to Handsonearth within 10 days of receipt.
Refunds for defective items will take place within 10 working days of receipt of the returned items.
If Handsonearthwomanshop is unable to replace the defective item, it will refund the amount paid via the payment method originally used, in the same amount paid by the user.
